Welcome to the Greater Sacramento Softball Association (GSSA). GSSA is an affiliation of the Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA).  GSSA covers territory from Dixon up to Lake Tahoe and from Lincoln to Galt. Counties include: Placer, Nevada , El Dorado, Sacramento, Yolo, and parts of Solano.

Championship Play

The ASA Championship Play Season is now upon us! We have hosted the Class A, Class B and Class C Association Tournaments over the past two weekends. From these tournaments, teams qualified for the Regional Championships, Western Nationals and USA National Championships.

Sacramento ASA wishes the best of luck to all of our teams who are traveling to tournaments this summer and hope that you have safe travels.

We are very pleased to report that Sacramento ASA and the City of Roseville were selected as the host of the 2011 Girl’s 14 A Western National Championship. This will be open to all 14 A teams that participate in their respective Association Championships and do not attend the USA/ASA 14 and under event. It is expected that the tournament will attract up to 80 teams from Washington, Oregon, Montana, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Hawaii and of course, California. In addition to that event in just over 18 months, GSSA will be hosting two very prestigious events in 2010:
                               -  Girl’s 18 Gold Territory Tournament – June 24 – 27, 2010
                               -  Girl’s 14 B Western National Championship – August 2 – 8, 2010
