In order to create fun and fair playing environments, the ASA has rules of eligibility that teams must follow in order to qualify for Championship Play. The following three resources outline the rules that players and teams must follow when playing in Sacramento ASA.
There are three levels of eligibility rules that must be followed. The ASA Code is set by the National Council and must be followed by all ASA teams. The Region 14 Handbook is published by the JO Commissioners from California, Nevada and Hawaii. These rules must be followed by all Region 14 teams. These rules can be stricter than the ASA code. Sacramento ASA rules are designed to meet the best interest of the teams and leagues in our association. These rules can be stricter than the rules of the region and the ASA code.
