Super Regional - Pitch, Hit & Run

On Sunday May 23rd, Sacramento ASA hosted the Super Regional Pitch, Hit & Run event at Maidu Park in Roseville. There were over 80 participants that competed in the fun and free skills competition. Each of the participants qualified from a local event that was hosted by their league or travel team.

The winners of this event are eligible to advance to the Team Competition that will be held at the A's and Giants stadiums. Congratulations to the following 1st place winners:

About the Pitch, Hit & Run
Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) is a FREE, 1-day event for boys and girls ages 7-14* that is simple to host. The Pitch, Hit and Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. Sacramento ASA is proud to be a partner with the Pitch, Hit and Run Softball Competition. Girls have the opportunity to compete and be awarded in a separate softball division.
 
Participants have the opportunity to compete in four levels of competition including Locals, Sectionals, Team Championships and the National Finals at the 2010 MLB All-Star Game.
 

Girls must participate in one of the following local competitions in order to be eligible to advance. Please contact the administrator of one of the local events to obtain specific information about that event.
